Research skills trainer and consultant
Founder and principal trainer at To The Point Research. I am an independent consultant and research trainer specializing in increasing productivity and efficiency for adults and children. I have 14 years of research experience in public relations, strategic consulting, and education. After founding a library for ESL learners outside Tokyo, I ran research departments for Niehaus Ryan Wong Public Relations and The McKenna Group, then founded a children's library for a non-profit organization.
My greatest passion is helping people decrease the frustration they experience when they try to find information. I believe that by paying attention to the changes in information retrieval that we are experiencing as part of the "Internet Age" we can find new and better ways to understand our relationship with information and all the means at our disposal to find it.
I earned a Bachelor's in Asian Studies from Mount Holyoke College, a Master's from Harvard University in Chinese Sign Language, and a Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
